CONDITION & DETAILS
This vintage Speedy 40 features an Epi leather body, rolled leather handles, top zip closure, and an interior slip pocket. It is in beautiful condition considering it is a vintage bag (according to the datacode produced in the 10th week of 1994). 

• Exterior condition shows some light scratches on front and back side
• Interior is clean and very well kept for its vintage age
• The hardware is in very good condition, the padlock a bit oxidized, the zipper leather has a small tear (see pictures)
• Bottom shows some slight signs of wear
• Corners show some small scuffings
• Epi leather still very sturdy and only slightly out of shape
• The item has no perceptible odor other than natural decent leather odor

THE PRELOVEDSTORY 
The iconic Speedy bag was introduced in 1930 as a smaller version of its popular precursor, the Keepall. It was originally introduced as the Express, deriving its name from the age of automobiles and American-imported appliances after the First World War. Back then, the Speedy was available in three sizes (30, 35, and 40), but when Audrey Hepburn requested for this Boston bag in a smaller size in 1965, the Speedy 25 was born.
